McDavitt Yacht Construction is a business run by Jeff & Wendy, operating now for 20yrs.

Jeff has been involved in the boating industry since the mid 70’s, primarily in the multihull field. Originally based in Brisbane, Jeff was a part of the ‘discovery’ and rapid growth of the multihull scene in the 80’s. Being involved with the construction of many Chamberlin designs Jeff’s interest focused towards strong performance craft.

The company is now based on the Sunshine Coast where 17 multihulls have been built, three of which were Chamberlin13.5mt catamarans to finished stage. Contracted by Adrian Rogers to build the first Rogers 10 which has sailed extensively in the Cape York ,Coral Sea area, we soon saw a demand for these boats. Since taking over the construction we have built 14 to various stages.
